Andernach Martin’s market with sales-open Sunday
Between Martin’s gooses and multicolored huts you will find yourself in a sea of lanterns, lampions, torches and lights on the market place. A fanciful Martin’s parade in the city center, organized for the first time by the Andernach action committee together with merchants and gastronomists for children, families, young and old, will be the surprising highlight of this night.

Advent fair with living crib
Right in the centre on the historical market place, the Christmas story taken from the gospel of Luke, is performed in a life-size wooden crib between sheep, donkeys and cows.
Every day young and old meet to see spellbound what happened in the stable of Bethlehem at that time.
The numerous sheep, little lambs and goats are not only a pet zoo for the children, but wait in the nearby enclosure for their appearance on stage. In beautifully decorated little houses the Advent market offers everything the heart could wish for, from Christmas decoration to tasty beekeeper’s honey and hot waffles.
