Arrival and 1^st day:
After your arrival and check-in at the hotel, you can leave the stress and hectic rush of everyday life behind.
The bicycle weekend starts with a typical dinner in one of the restaurants in the old town of Andernach.
Overnight accommodation at the hotel.

2^nd day:  Short visit to the volcanic east of the Eifel
After a rich Fitness breakfast, you start to a bicycle tour into the volcanic park. In the information center "Rauschermuehle" you will get a first impression of the developing history of the east Eifel. A film points out impressively the activity of the volcanoes. Then you will continue your tour following the "volcanic cycle track", which leads you across the "Roman mine" and the "rock cellar" to "Cat mountain" near Mayen. Here you will discover May field, "the idyllic cycle path" inviting to rest and recover in restaurants and greens along the path. On the routes of the shut-down railway, you will reach the old station in Ochtendung and then get back to Andernach.

For dinner you will be delighted with local specialties, a “baker boys menu" and a high-proof "baker boys warm-up", in one of the typical Rhineland restaurants of Andernach’s old town.

3^rd day: Roman city of Andernach
You start your day with an extensive breakfast.
One of our qualified city guides will pick you up for a guided city tour and will tell you a lot of interesting things and some anecdotes about the 2000 year-old Roman city of Andernach.
The afternoon is free so you can take your time and go for a shopping tour in our specialist shops and fashion shops or have a coffee in a Café or bistro.

Upon request the tourist information Andernach.net will be glad to provide you with further bicycle tour suggestions:  e.g. to the well-known abbey "Maria Laach" or along the banks of the romantic Rhine into the Brohl valley, where you can take an eventful trip on the volcanic express rich in tradition through one of the most beautiful valleys of the Rhine.
